- Abstract:
- Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is considered being a B-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma with leukemic progress and is known as the most common leukemia in the western world. Each year, 0.5-1 % of the CLL-patients develop Richter transformation (RT). Dysregulation of the immune system has been shown to play a crucial role in the pathogenesis of CLL. However, knowledge about this is limited. Thus, we aimed to comprehensively study the expression of genes associated with immune cell function in our CLL- and Richter-cohort.
