Abstract:

According to prior literature, certain genetic variants associated with Anorexia Nervosa (AN) have also been linked to depression. As part of this thesis, promising genotypes of the genes 5-HT2A, PPP3CA, OPCML, and TSHZ1 are selected based on the largest preliminary studies and examined with regard to their associated depression scores in connection with Anorexia Nervosa.
