Abstract:: The necessity and importance of the doctor-patient conversation during the treatment of the adolescent diabetic is being indicated through one example. The therapeutic measures may not orient themselves toward explicitly objective information. For the quality of the metabolic state, psychological problems and conflicts are important as well, meaning that an ear must be lent to the emotional content of the objective information.
