- Within a one-year study wet depositions at selected measuring points in an urban area were collected and chemically analysed (pH, electric conductivity, nitrogen, sulfur, chloride). The results of the measurements are very good indicators for air-duality and pollutant-deposition. Among the selected parameters it seems that the electric conductivity, because of its easy determination on the scene and its good correlation to the classic indicators of anthropogene influence (sulfur, nitrogen) is especially suited for permanent controls of wet depositions.
