- Abstract:
- The growing demand for nursing care, driven by demographic changes and health challenges, burdens Austrian nurses with high workloads, low job satisfaction, and short retention. The N!CA project aims to address these issues by reducing and refining nursing processes and providing digital tools for evidence-based decision support. First, we conducted field observations and workshops to identify challenges that burden the nursing care process. Preliminary findings indicate significant opportunities for process automation and decision support integration. N!CA seeks to transform nursing practice through digital innovation to enhance job satisfaction and patient care outcomes.
