Abstract:: The purely mechanistic picture of blockage, which prevailed in our minds for many decades, has been increasingly replaced by a neurophysiological causal picture in recent years thanks to intensive basic research. Therefore, expressions such as "dislocated or popped-out vertebra", "pinched nerve", "blockages"" are now considered obsolete. The proven and halfway correct term "blockage", which has lost its pure mechanistic background in the neurophysiological context, can remain.
