Abstract:
Transverse facial clefts are rare orofacial birth defects with a wide range of severity. This congenital anomaly may be part of a syndrome. Therefore it is important to look for associated anomalies in the presence of a transverse facial cleft. We describe the occurrence of transverse facial cleft associated with esophageal atresia.
