Abstract:
In this evaluation study, 180 faecal specimens were tested in parallel with the new BD MAX™ Cdiff assay, the Premier™ Toxins A&B, and toxigenic culture as reference method. BD MAX™ Cdiff presented a high sensitivity (96.0%) and specificity (99.4%) with a negative predictive value of 99.4%. Copyright © 2013 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
