Protein Interactions Controlling ER/Golgi Transport
- Abstract
- In that project we will perform collaborative experiments as follows: We will use calcium-sensitive dyes and/or recombinant calcium sensor proteins and fluorescence imaging equipment to estimate clacium concentrations inside living cells and their organelles. The calcium concentration data will be an important component of the broader study, of the role of clacium in membrane transport in the constitutive secretory pathway.
