1. Start of PhD at the Medical University of Graz, Division of Endocrinology and Diabetology under the supervision of Prof.in Dr.in Barbara Obermayer-Pietsch.
2. Focus on the dynamics of the microbiome and predicted metagenomicprofiles, implementing an interventional trial with xenoestrogenic compounds metabolized by endogenous microbiome from dietary sources.
3. Earliest results on “double negative” IgD-/CD27- expanded memory B cells presented during the European Congress of Endocrinology in May 2019 and then at the Keystone Symposia 2020 “B Cell Renaissance: epigenetics, regulation andimmunotherapy” in February 2020.
4. October 2019 - March 2020 visiting Predoctoral Fellow at the Research Centre for Molecular Medicine (CeMM) in Vienna - Binder research group under the supervision of Dr. Tim Hendrikx. During this time, I investigated gut-associated IgA+ immunecells and gained considerable insight into the contribution of humoral immunity inatherosclerotic lesion formation.
